1. About us and these terms

This website, fire-risk-assessment-quotes.co.uk ("the Site"), is operated by The Lead Advisory Company Limited, trading as "Fire Risk Assessment Quotes" ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales under company number 05374791, VAT number 857848462, registered office [REPLACE - registered office address].

By accessing or using the Site you accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

2. Our service

Fire Risk Assessment Quotes is a free comparison and introduction service. We connect businesses and Responsible Persons with independent, accredited (BAFE SP205-registered) fire risk assessors.

We do not carry out fire risk assessments ourselves. The assessment, any quotation, the price you pay, the site visit and the resulting report are provided by, and are the sole responsibility of, the independent assessor you are introduced to. Any contract for a fire risk assessment is formed directly between you and that assessor — we are not a party to it.

Our service is free for you to use. We may receive a commission from an assessor if you proceed with them; this never changes the price you are quoted.

3. Submitting an enquiry

When you complete our quote form or chat, you ask us to pass your details to one or more accredited assessors so they can contact you about your enquiry. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal data.

4. Assessor accreditation

We take reasonable steps to introduce you only to assessors who hold recognised accreditation (such as BAFE SP205 registration) at the time of introduction. However, we do not employ, control or supervise these assessors, and we do not warrant or guarantee their work, availability, pricing or conduct. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that an assessor is suitable before engaging them.

5. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, submit false or spam enquiries, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it. Content on the Site is provided for general information about fire safety and is not legal or professional advice.

6. Our liability

The Site and our introduction service are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site, from any introduction, or from any assessment, advice, report or service provided by an assessor. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to The Lead Advisory Company Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce it without our permission.

8. Links to other sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those sites and provide the links for convenience only.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page; please check back periodically.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or your use of the Site.
